This is a wonderful restaurant. You definitely get a lot for your money. The food was delicious. We had dinner for 2 days with all the food that we got. The portions were big. The fish was very fresh. I wish there were more restaurants like the East Bay Diner in queens. The waiter was very good. I recommend this wonderful diner to everyone. Evelyn(Betty Boop)
Such an improvement from before. The hostess was pleasant and welcoming, the horrible cashier is no longer there. As always, the food is great and the portions generous. Back to being my go to diner!
My wife and her friends came here a lot growing up nearby and I can definitely understand why. Generous portions and delicious and also friendly service? Yes please! I honestly don't know if I've seen a bigger wrap and side of sweet potato fries than what they brought me. Even by Long Island diner standards this was massive. Knew right away I'd be bringing half of it home and it would make for another whole dinner. The matzo ball soup was also a hearty cup and very tasty. One person's entree came with dessert but the waiter insisted that we all share more than one cake slice (a piece of cheesecake and a piece of strawberry shortcake)- no extra charge. Yum!
I love their dinner specials. So much food I had the steak kabobs and it was perfectly marinated over a bed of rice. It came with a.massively fresh salad and as well as soup (matzoh ball of course) i was so full i had to take my included strawberry shortcake dessert home.
Last week I decided to order several meals, using a $100 Uber Eats gift card that I had received for my birthday. The portions were very generous with most dinners including main course, soup, salad, vegetable, potato AND dessert all for less than $30 each. Everything was delicious - California panini, lamb chops, open roast beef sandwich, French dip sandwich, pork chops and 1/2 toasted chicken. They even threw in 4 free muffins which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend East Bay Diner for both in person dining or delivery. Note: As you can imagine with all of that food I did have to add more money to my order.
